Hair cloning article in Wired Magazine.

Posted on Saturday 17 January 2004

Speak of the Devil! Hair Cloning. I just talked about this here a few days ago. On Friday I was flipping through the January issue of Wired Magazine at work when I found a really interesting article on hair cloning. Apparantly, success is being achieved in this area, much more than I had thought would be possible by now anyway. However, while now it has come out of the realm of science fiction, I still think it will be at least a decade before it becomes commercially viable or even desireable for the most part. I hope I end up having to eat my words on this. If you haven’t read the article already, pick up the magazine if you get a chance and give it a read.

Time for me to start saving up the cash for when I’m 50! I’m 30 now. I figure I’ll wait to see if the early adopters have any bad effects (like all of the transplanted cloned hair falling out after 10 years or even worse getting cancer).

I will be following this topic more closely, and will create a section on it for the site.
