Hi,

Just a basic question about the OMG helmet fitting, I have watched OMG`s helmet fitting video. What the video doesent explain is though are the bristles of the helmet suppossed to be right against the scalp or just not quite touching the scalp?

thanks!

Re: LLLT and Minox use - OMG? JDP?

Just wanted to bump this up for some more opinions.

Im still a bit uncertain about the minox being bad issue when using LLLT. It seems that many LLLT clinics, for example Gaunitz use minox as part of there treatment regimen, so thats a bit of a contradiction surely?

Just curious why do you mention nizoral? I know about the questions regarding LLLT and minox, but nizoral? I wondering if the people using the standard protocol( 3 times a week 20 minutes per session) with no response to the Laser Therapy are using Nizoral, Nizoral cream or Minoxidil? Some of the pe...

Hi robster, Pert Plus for normal or oily hair worked very well for me. I also used Tresseme but the brand I use is discontinued. These both contain SLS so beware that most people fighting hair loss tend to go for a natural shampoo that doesn't contain this ... although I've never had a problem. Aub...

. . As far as lack of results, I've heard many people mentioning better results once they clean their scalp "very thoroughly" with the right shampoo, etc. and not just washing your hair like normal ... I was one of them last year who slacked off on this part and once I realized what happened, I sta...

Are you still doing: day on, day on then day off? For 10 - 12 minutes? This is what im currently doing. @robster: Hard to say if I feel it every time. I do feel a slight pump almost every time and I still do get slightly sore, usually on my second day. I am on a different protocol now so that is why...

Re: Positive sensation after LLLT

Hapyman how often do you experience the head pump sensation with LLLT? Is it every time after LLLT? Nothing to worry about. It is just an increase in blood flow and vasodilation. Plus it is just temporary. Actually when I use lasers on my veins (Laser Blood Irradiation) I get the same effect except ...

Re: Anyone thinned out on LLLT on months 4-5 then gained?

I pretty new to LLLT but I do feel personally that 20 minutes in a session may be too long for some people, I think it is for me anyway. Ive tried the 3 x 20 minute a week sessions and also 10 - 12 minutes day on, day on, then rest day idea. I think the latter is better for me. Everybody is going to...

Can you guys describe what those pimples are like in any more detail? The ones I have after only 3 and half weeks of LLLT are quite red, small and flat, some are in clusters and cover some areas and theres lots of them! Its like severe acne in a way without forming a head.

Ive heard that LLLT opens calcium channels, minox is a potassium channels opener and has the opposite effect. Ive been using minox for 8 years and have had minimal results with it (except when i used it with DMSO as in Oz Brew). Anyway im thinking of stopping minox, im not going to go cold turky on i...
