Re: Capillogain® Tonic

Going to call it a day with this product. Will be 6 months in the beginning of June (think is probably long enough to evaluate the effectiveness of a product) and no improvement to report on the crown where I have been using it. No side effects to report and it is easy to apply and dries super quick...

Re: Capillogain® Tonic

Been using the tonic once a day for approaching 6 months now on the crown and it doesn't seem to be doing much for me. Toying with the idea of dropping it as maybe I'm just not responding to it

Re: Capillogain® Tonic

I think i'm getting the 'tired, dry eyes side' other people have mentioned. Had it for a while. Didn't connect it with the Capollogain at first but reading around looks like it there could be a link. May have to keep off it for a few days and see how things go. Only really use on the vertex and rece...

Re: Capillogain® Tonic

Been using this for approaching 3 months just on the vertex and nothing to really report at the moment in terms of results. Unfortunately my initial order was from the batch with the problems. Have been sent replacements which I have been using for a week o so. Will use for another 3 months and see ...

Re: Capillogain® Tonic

Hi Joely, did you experience any sides or a shed? I ask as I have had sides from Minox and Fin in the past, and while Minox worked for me, it came with a lot of baggage (ruined my skin & accelerated my balding when i stopped). With Fin, I had a bad experience - so again, sensitive to antiandrogens....

Re: Capillogain® Tonic

Been using this for around 2 weeks (once a day) now only on the vertex (wanted to just check for any sides) where there is a balding patch. No adverse reactions so far and dries up very quickly leaving no residue. Also find I don't need to use too much. It is quite 'watery' in its consistency so doe...

Re: Propecia and Lasers

Got to be honest, if I was Propecia, i wouldn't drop it in the hope lasers would keep hold of what I had maintained or regrew on Procpecia. Makes sense to stick to something that you feel has been working for you. Obviously if I was experiencing sides/worried about long term affects, then that would...

Re: 8 Months OF LLLT

Thanks guys. My main aim is thickening what I already have, if I can do that I think i'd be fairly happy. Regrowth would be a bonus however not something i'm pinning my hopes on

8 Months OF LLLT

OK guys, just passed 8 months of using my laser helmet and my hair at the moment is quite thin around the temples and just behing the 'island'. Still shed in the shower, however nothing when brushing or running my hands through my hair. Scalp feels really good, no irratation or inflammation/itchines...

Topical?

I'm looking to add a topical to my regime. There is a bald stop developing at the back of my head and i'm looking for something which could help thicken it up and I could use alongside lasers. I do use folligen as it helps thicken my hair cosmetically but IMO that is all it really does. I also use S...

Pimples?

Well hit the 7 month mark of using the helmet and overall I'd say I'm quite happy with things so far. Scalp feels really good and I can't really remember the last time I scratched my head due to inflammation and the redness has ceased. Thickness has improved along with general condition of hair. I d...

Re: Coal tar shampoos

I use it regularly along with Nizoral (2/3 times a week). Do think it is a good shampoo. Recently added Aubrey's Mens Stock and Avalon B-Complex thickening shampoo (do like this and smells great). I'm considering the possibly of trying Dr Lee's Regrowth shampoo (understand it contains both Keto and ...

If its been positive for your hair, i would keep it alongside other things you are trying. A multi pronged attack on hair loss is always going to give you a better chance.

Re: The laser shed

I'm just shy of 5 months using my 200 diode laser helmet and think I am currently going through a shed. It can be disheartening seeing that hair fall out (generally its thin weak looking hair falling out). What I seem to have noticed in my 5 months or so is that I have periods where shedding is non ...
