The explination is more complicated than you might think. The reason most do not experience hair loss in the occipital area and around the ears is there are far less hormone receptors and smaller sebum glands. That is why the HT people transplant hair from that region. 98% of the population have the...

Styling Aids for thinning hair.

Most of the thinning or hair loss lines of product have styling products, which are safe for thinning hair. As for regrowth, most topical agents will try to stimulate growth, but if the follicle is clogged it will only grow fine vellous hairs. Eventually even the velous hairs cannot penetrate the cl...

I am unfamiliar with Neostrata so I looked it up. It appears to be a 15% acid peel. I used to use a 15% Glycholic Acid peel before I changed to Actifirm, an enzyme peel. Neostrata is made for the face not the scalp. I like the enzyme peel for 2 reasons. 1 it is more effective in softening the build ...

By not washing your hair everyday, you are allowing oil, dht and perspriation to accumulate on the scalp. Non of which are good. I agree with James, that gels hold the hair in place, where it would have normally shed with out you noticing. I suggest people shampoo twice a day to remove excess dirt a...

Imagin what your face would look like if it wasn't cleansed to remove oil, dirt and excess skin cells. The scalp isn't any different. With hair on the scalp, it is difficult at...

I tried to take some digital pics but they didn't magnify the scalp as I had hoped. I just started my clinic last November and am slowly building a client base.
