Re: LLLT does not work
I am not sure LLLT is a false science. But I think I am getting close to the point (1 year) where the OMG design does not produce results _for me_ and may in fact hurt my hair. I have no idea why this is the case. However, folks have been using these helmets for close to 2 years now. If the results ...

It has been a while since I posted. 11 months complete now since starting my 300 diode OMG helmet. Sadly, no progress. I started using 3 x 20 min sessions. At 4 months experienced a horrible shed. Since then I have cut down my times gradually to 12 mins x 2 days a week. Loss stabilized at that point...

This are my results of LLLT Dr. Watt, I was disappointed in October. Now I feel better. Good thing is, my hair now withstands my pull tests, implicating it grows longer. Will see how/if it continues to improve. I chose this harsh flash light fotography to have stable conditions. There are more vell...

I highly recommend it. I didnt start seeing results until I started using it. It was like night and day difference. The DHT/sebum on your scalp if not removed before lasering, can be hurting you. As lasers are suppose to enhance topicals, if there is DHT and sebum on your scalp, my theory is that i...

If everyone bought their helmet thru omg, and sent him pics first, and he told the ppl who it will work for, and who it wont, the % success rate would be much higher, and then theres the varibles with DIY such as insufficient power to diodes, not enough coverage etc. I just made up these figures, s...

Hey Jambap & Neverquit. Aren't you guys using different systems? Perhaps your lasers are different types as well?
It seems there are several designs out there and i have not seen much talk on the difference types having potentially different results. If in fact that is the case.

OMG is done addressing the shedding issue, however, because this is a problem that will work itself out regardless of what they do. If they quit the helmet, it will eventually stop. Bottom line is look at the hairs you are shedding. Don't look at them in the shower when they are wet, but when they are dry. Look at the ends. You will see that from areas where there is mpb, the hairs taper, i.e. get thinner towards the ends, and this is the earliest sign that there is increased ...
