Re: miconazole nitrate

Yes! I'm 8 weeks in and today I went to get my hair cut---it was getting REALLY long in the back and on the sides and one of the first things my stylist asked me was "CHARLIE what are you doing to your hair?!" she remarked about the stubble that is now getting some shades of my natural color--a very...

Re: miconazole nitrate

Fizzball I think that would be worth a try, what I'm doing is applying where I need it and then using a small pocket comb to comb it through my hair. I will have a more concrete sense that the MN is working when I go to my stylist for a cut on Saturday. She's known me for years and knows my hair ver...

Re: miconazole nitrate

I think it does eventually become terminal. Some of the Miconazole growth I've seen seems to be turning terminal and to my natural color (a very dark brown) while some of the growth I've seen with the Miconazole has kind of a greyish color kind of like a cement block and still other growth has a kin...

Re: xenna topical 183

Fizzaball from the looks of your pictures above your hair might have receded just a little further back than mine got. I am seeing some definite improvement with the Miconazole Nitrate I've been talking about in the other thread....I'm not sure if Anxious has tried that but I would recommend it for ...

Re: Does Anything Work In My Situation??

While I cannot say for certain that it will work for you, trying Miconazole Nitrate (Monistat 7 or any generic store brand equivalent) is worth a try. Like you, I started to notice--rather my friends pointed it out--that I was thinning at 18-19 years old and by the time I was in my mid 20s it became...

Re: vitamin D and finasteride side effects

Your point about various treatments "creating the optimal environment for hair growth" is very well taken with me. My stylist preached Nioxin Nioxin Nioxin Nioxin to me for over a year before I finally tried it for the first time nearly three years ago. Could it be that after nearly three years the ...

Re: miconazole nitrate

Has anyone experienced abdominal pain from using Miconazole nitrate on their scalps? not me more than anything I usually experience due to my having IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I tried using Saw Palmetto about four or five years ago as I heard that it helped for hair loss but I had to stop it be...

And also as anyone knows bumfluff (which for those of you whom had never previously heard the term is akin to a 5:00 Shadow) can and does grow into full beard with the proper cultivation :)

Re: vitamin D and finasteride side effects

Anxious you also have to consider that everyone's hair grows, sheds, and begins to grow again at different rates. While I don't believe anyone will go from completely bald to full head of hair in merely a matter of weeks, I do wholly believe that people could start to see some signs of potential for...

Re: I'm so excited

I've been using my Nioxin for almost three years with limited results. When I run out of my Nioxin products this time, which should be sometime in the next few weeks, I am going to leave that out of the equation and stick with the Miconazole, Ketoconazole to see what happens. While I haven't seen qu...

Re: miconazole nitrate

I don't think it was a "soft spot" like we see in babies' heads, but rather a spot that is similar in that texture where new hairs will eventually come in. ....all I can say now is that its been an interesting 28 days on my scalp.

I'm so excited

Back in the late 1990's when I was in high school, probably 11th grade or so, I used to part my hair in the middle and have my bangs hang down on the left and right sides--some of you may remember this as the "butt cut" hairstyle although I can't remember what the actual name was for it...it looked ...

Justin I am glad to read that someone besides me has noticed the quick change. For those in doubt about using Miconazole Nitrate, I would suggest you tr...

Re: miconazole nitrate

I'm using a finger length twice a day. Squeeze the tube down the length of the pointer finger then outline the areas where you need to use the miconazole creme. after you outline the areas use the pads of the pointer finger to massage it into the scalp as if you were spreading mayo on a sandwich.

Hair on other parts of the body

Hi Guys, I am new here so I will apologize in advance if this has been covered elsewhere on the forums or the main site. My question is: I have more than abundant hair growth on other parts of my body (arms, legs, feet, hands, face and of course in my ano-genital regions) Over the past couple weeks ...
