Why a shiny head?
What is the reason for a bald scalp to shine? Skin with no hair in it doesn't shine, so why does a bald scalp? Is it something to do with sebum?

Re: Why a shiny head?
Yea i rekn its build up of sebum. But once all that crap has ruined the scalp. If you get rid of the oil etc than instead of growing hair you will get dry flakey skin (fibrosis possibly). Even tho my scalp occasionly gets oily. Close up it also looks scaley and dry.
Its a wierd combo for something to be oily but dry at the same time. And yea i think its sebum maybe/fibrosis?! Who knows really but its my opinion both things must be adressed at first.

People with healthy hair, if they shaved all their hair on their scalp, they wouldn't get a shiny head would they? It's only for people who have baldness?
