Coal tar shampoos

Post by nscvent » Wed Oct 28, 2009 9:06 pm

I use a small amount of Neutrogena Coal tar shampoos on the weekend to remove buildup from Propecia use.
What are some other coal-based alternatives?

Bear in mind that coal tar shampoos have been banned in some countries (Germany?) for their carcinogen risk. FYI. Still, most stores in the US carry their own store-brand. I know Meijer's does.

Now, I only use propecia every other day (as part of a regimen) but before used it daily. In my experience, hair improved but scalp was oily with more sebum and mild crown improvement.

Used the Revivogen products also but switched to minimal amount of coal tar once a week.

I use it regularly along with Nizoral (2/3 times a week). Do think it is a good shampoo. Recently added Aubrey's Mens Stock and Avalon B-Complex thickening shampoo (do like this and smells great). I'm considering the possibly of trying Dr Lee's Regrowth shampoo (understand it contains both Keto and Salicylic Acid) using that 2/3 times a week that instead of the Niz and T-Gel and using the Aubrey/Avalon all other times.

ive tried alot, and im now certain im on the best combo, which is nizoral 2% each sunday, aubrey ginseng biotin mens stock, other days. i use scalpure every 2nd day, and when that runs out, if im still not happy with the results from that, and if steve still hasnt given us proof it works, i'll change to plain montmillerite.

while i am at it, i might as well say the rest of my regime,

nizoral 2%, mens stock, scalpure, beta sitosterol, hoo shou wu, curcummin, glutathione (for a month each 6 months), dabur chyawanprash, and blackmores SPPC with meals.

i think its a nice cheap natural regime, easy on the liver and kidneys, and covers alot of angles. if scalpure works in regards to drawing out dht ( probably not but ...) i'll drop beta sitosterol. ive also just dropped yuda pilatory, its been a yr, and its not really doing much other than being a pain to apply!

im not into lasers, growth factors, dna altering stuff . but that will probably be where the silver bullet will come from, i just dont want to be a guinea pig for them!
