Hi Guys, I am new here so I will apologize in advance if this has been covered elsewhere on the forums or the main site.
My question is: I have more than abundant hair growth on other parts of my body (arms, legs, feet, hands, face and of course in my ano-genital regions) Over the past couple weeks I've noticed the hair on the backs of my hands, somewhat on my arms, and the hair on the tops of my feet seems to be getting thinner as the hair on my scalp gets a gradually thicker is there a link between hair loss in other places on the body and gaining hair in the scalp? As much hair as I have on those other parts I would definitely not mind losing there if it meant a gain on the scalp.

I am not aware of any such link. However, a lot of body hair is thought to be indicative of high levels of androgens (testosterone or dihydrotestestorone (DHT)). High levels of androgens are associated with androgenetic alopecia in those that are susceptible.

I believe that is what my doctor call as hormone drop. This is the culprit for my hairloss.
