It's not a bad idea. There are so many things out there one could take. I take a fiber supplement that also acts as a prebiotic and strengthens the immune system:
I've had luck in the past with products that contain "transfer factors". 4Life and other companies make combo products that contain TF.
There's also a yogurt "proven" to help prevent colds: http://stonyfieldfarm.com/Wellness/Moos ... moos_id=48 ..and Dannon recently came out with one for immunity as well. Whey protein is also good for the immune system.
I guess I'm kinda moving from supplements to "snack supplements". If we're going to spend our money on such stuff....might as well use our snack money
http://www.larex.com/htm/immunen_r.htmlAs a dietary supplement, Larch Arabinogalactan is sometimes compared to Echinacea, as AG is considered to be the most potent immune system constituent in Echinacea. There are several advantages that AG has versus Echinacea, which include concentration and potency, ability to be taken daily on a long-term basis and inherent safety (a combination of GRAS, generally recognized as safe, status and effective standardization).
