Cutting my hair shorter and shorter
I decided to get my hair cut short. I have to say that it turned out to be an excellent decision. With the whole FPB thing, my hair has gotten frizzy. So, I cut it down to a length where the hair is not frizzy.
It's about 4 inches on top and shorter on the sides and back. I have short bangs that cover up my high forehead. I've been getting compliments like crazy. I haven't had any hair compliments, from anyone, in about 3 years. It feels good to hear people say they like my hair. A couple of people actually said they wished their hair was as good as mine . I just smiled and said, "thank-you".
I know my hair continues to thin, but for now it feels okay.

I looked into the Lasercomb. I'm not interested in it. It's too expensive and I'm not convinced it works.
If some new drug doesn't come out before my hair loss becomes bothersome, then I will get a tiny hair piece. Hair pieces for women can be so discreet that most people can't detect them.

I am so happy for you that you have a hair style that you like! I am gonna agree with Sam though and suggest that you look more into the lasercomb. I can tell you that IT WORKS. The lasercomb grew hair on my hairline. I am not talking about a lot of hair, but it regrew some. I can only imagine that it has done and is doing other things that are great for my hair that I do not even know about. Look into it seriously Tricia, this thing could really help you out.

Tricia, I had the same thoughts for years. But the Lasercomb is quite convenient and it actually is setup in a way (with reflective surfaces) to give the maximum spread, to form a line. So you don't have to spend an hour each time you use it to get the right coverage.
There is a smaller one now available for much cheaper as I am sure you are aware.
I can totally understand if you don't want to bother with it though. It takes considerable effort to stick to the regimen.
Cheers,
Sam

I like picture #3, but I cut my hair short a long time ago & am very happy with it. I think the shorter the better
