Styling Products
YOOoo, so I have decided to start styling my hair, and I am wondering if there are any all natural styling products that don't leave your hair looking greasy (at all), but provide lots of hold so I can do some messy/spiky type of deal.
Also, if there are any that would actually be GOOD for my hair, that would be even better.
I have tried the Lamas styling cream and it didn't do it for me. There was almost no hold, and it irritated my head.
I was thinking some kind of waxy type of deal? Suggestions?!

Re: Styling Products
You're at least the second person I've read say the Lamas product irritated your scalp. I thought I had a sensitive scalp..and it doesn't bother me- actually feels good. But no..it's not a sculpting type styling aid.
Have you tried Morrocco Method's? That..for me anyway..had more hold..but not sure it'd do what you'd want it to.

Re: Styling Products
Think I'll give the morrocco method stuff a go but I'll wait to see the after effects of quitting minoxidil and finasteride.
Have you ever used either of these Jacob?

Re: Styling Products
Morrocco Method definitely makes some unique products. My personal favorites are the Earth shampoo and the Diamond Crystal Mist.

Re: Styling Products
Well... it's... a lot. I do all of the following...
Internals:
~.72mg Finasteride
Astragalus Supplement (not really taking it for hair, but I've heard it might be beneficial)
Maxi Hair supp
Tocotrienols supp
Curcumin supp
Resveratrol supp
Multi-vitamin w/ saw palmetto and other crap
Topicals
Alternate Super Zix II and Lamas Serum in the mornings
Rotate between the following Elsom topicals at night: ScalpXtreme, Juveline, Nanoscalp
Shampoos
Rotate Nioxin System 2 (which I'm replacing w/ something else soon), Elsom, and Nizoral 2%
Other
Laser Helmet 3x a week
It is definitely helping, but I am looking for more regrowth. I plan on experimenting with various topicals to see if I can't kick start some.

PS: I bought American Crew Fiber... it is not all natural, but I'll let you know what I think of it regardless.
