Hey man, haven't heard from you in a while. Just wondering how the Nanogaine is going for ya in terms of scalp compatability.

Hi I'm using it for 7 weeks now : I can feel little thick hair when I run my fingers through my hair, and I can see vellus hair sprouting on the right side of my hairline area ( and not on my tempal area like I said to jacob in my e-mail..my english s**** :x ). I'll give you updates.

PS: I'm norwood 2.5

Compatibility-wise...it's perfect. No weird reactions..and it's one of the few topicals I can really use and not worry about it showing on my scalp. My latest "custom" by Elsom may also fall into this catagory. Have to use it some more to see. It's in a spray bottle this time...contains apple peel extract and gse..etc. Will post more about it this week.

I do wish Nanogaine were nanosomal or that it just absorbed better. I guess I've been spoiled the past few years with such topicals. Using the Dermaroller does help..but I only use that in the morning.

In my 3rd supply I actually have to push the cap first if I want to open the vial; I heard the double "click"

I'm still on my first batch..don't have to "click" anything. Let me know please if all the containers in your latest supply are that way.

I'm not a member there..haven't been for years. Does he say how long he's been using it? Maybe I'll try to contact him anyway....or ask somebody who can.

BTW..when you put the stuff on your finger and smell it...what does it smell like to you?

I've never smelled a light onion  ..but guess I'll have to take another wiff.

I still don't get why the stuff comes out w/out pushing down and hearing/feeling a click. Did you ever get a response from them on that?

Notice that I got some skin pb for a while now, so maybe the demodex thing is possible, plus my hairloss started right after those skin pbs ..don't know what to think..thx in advance.

Booly, what is "skin pb?"

Those hairs look kinda crazy to me. Maybe this demodex things holds some weight. I have no clue though.

Do you have any pics of your head, showing the hair loss?

James "skin pb" means skin problems, I got red pimples near my nose (sometimes) and my ears (always) and microkysts on my front.

I will post a picture of my hairloss when my camera will be back :)

I used to see those all the time until I started "treating" my hair loss. I figured they were what is called a "hair bulb"..maybe with extra sebum or whatever clinging to it.

Here's a photo of a "good" vs one with dht on it: Image

Another- they call them roots here: Image

Another: Image

Well the only thing I can remember you saying you use is Nanogaine.

I got my scalp under control by rotating a number of shampoos...using Alterna's "Follicle Stimulating Treatment"...etc. This was years ago. Since then I'm kept rotating a # of shampoos..used a # of topicals...used natural styling aids...etc.

I wouldn't worry to much if a few hairs here and there are coming out like that. If it were me..and take this as just an opinion...but if I were just starting out and having sebum type problems like I did and knew about Semodex..I'd probably try that.

BTW..what were you po'd about- you mentioned in my blog? You were saying you were seeing results with Nanogaine..then your next post was that you were po'd. If you responded there I'm not seeing it..don't know why all the messages aren't shown there.

Well I was desperate this day, 21 yo and be a nw 2.5/3 is not really funny, so yes I was po'd.
3 month with nanogaine, vellus hairs are still there, no improvement, but the little thick hairs that I felt when I ran my fingers through my hairs keep growing.
On the front : there is a little improvement, some thicker hairs are growing ( I will show you when I will get back my cam).

One of the reasons why I've started taking supplements that may "feed" hair is to possibly help any new hairs to develop better/faster. Things like Bio-Sil can't hurt, imo.

Only that I'm still using it. I'll post if I see tons of new regrowth or something..but I use a # of things so it'd be hard to say Nanogaine is doing this or that.

I have had some irritation but need to see if it continues. Didn't have any at first.

I've had to quite Nanogaine. I'm po'd at their lack of customer service..but that's not enough to make me quit. Ever heard of Lipoxidil? Actually I got Nanogaine from Lipoxidil..and am awaiting to see if they can get any answers and possible get my product exchanged(due to the things being "opened" already).

I did love it being so clear and not having to worry about it showing on my scalp. I may use another product in the mornings like that..have a couple in mind.
