androgenetic alopecia
i was diagnosed 9 years ago with andro genetic alopecia. i went for treatments, chinese herb, minoxodil - (was allergic) nothing worked
cut hair real short and wore wigs for while
then dyed hair blonde and hair looked thicker
now it has come back full force - i had double mastectomy two years ago and went right into menopause
what will work now? i do not know whether to shave head and just wear wigs. transplant with alopecia really is not option is it?
how expensive r treatments - since not covered by insurance.
need help
For a true evaluation of your androgenetic alopecia condition, you need to visit with a Hair Restoration Physician who is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.
Once you have had an evaluation, treatments can then be recommended.
Every patient is different and herbs are not likely to make much of an improvement.
Hair loss is a treatable medical condition if you start therapy early enough.
Visit http://www.baumanmedical.com for more information on hair loss and it's medical treatment.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bauman
