I\'m a middle age woman.
I had scalp inflammation and lost a lot of hair.
I was treated with Methylprednisolone and prednisone medications.
Inflammation didn\'t completely go away yet.
Will my hair come back?
Do steroid pills diminish future hair re-growth?
If so is there any thing I can do now to promote hair growth?
Why is there a problem with hair re-growth after taking steroid pills and
not striod shots?

Determining the correct treatment regimen starts with the correct diagnosis. What are you being treated for? I am NOT a huge fan of treating hair loss with anti-inflammatory steroid medications like prednisone, etc. There are many other options that have fewer side-effects over the long-term.
