receding hairline more on one side
Hi Dr. I write you from Paraguay, I\'m 24 years old and I\'ve started a treatment for hair loss with a dermatologist about 4 months ago which consists on a shampoo and 2,5 mg of biotine... my hair\'s sstarting to look healthier and is falling a lot less that it used to... I also starting to use minoxidil 3% (I believe is the only concentration they sell here) about 3 or 4 weeks ago, however my right side is not improving, I\'m happy with my left side, I believe is a lot better than it used to, but the right side is the same (if not worst). Should I continue with minoxidil? also, sometimes I only put it once a day, at night, cos\' if I do it two times per day itches and it\'s hard not to scratch... what should I do? is there an address where I can send you a picture so that you can check the difference between the sides? thanks (sorry if my english is not very good, not my first language)
It's not uncommon to experience male pattern hair loss which is slightly asymmetrical. For a complete evaluation, visit www.baumanmedical.com and click on 'start here.' You can also email doctorb@baumanmedical.com to start a consultation process. Keep in mind that because of the volume of inquiries I get as a hair loss expert, there is a fee for consultations which can be credited to any in-office treatment or procedure. If you are male, you might want to consider treatment with Finasteride/Propecia. Let me know if I can help in any way. Sincerely, Dr. B.
