Leg Hair Loss
Hi, Dr. I have had trouble for the past couple of years with the loss of leg hair around the mid shin area. I have a rather large amount of dark leg hair, but the area that is lacking the hair is very obvious and presents a bit of a problem for me when it comes to wearing sandels, shorts, etc. The area is extremely smooth, and the few leg hairs that are still attached look extremely brittle. If this is caused by the rubbing of clothing on the area, what is a good way to prevent this and when should I start seeing results? Thanks for your time.
This is most likely result of rubbing on clothing or sports gear. The way to prevent this is by using loose clothing or gear so the hair would not become rubbed off.
