My hair started following 15 year back. Now last two years I was suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis & Low Thyroid. Both I am taking treatments. Still I have massive hair loss. I am scared in next 5 years whether I will have not have any hair. But my hair is strong, shiny & looks healthy. Please help me.
Age 39 Female, Asian
Thank you
Anusha,
Remember that shedding 100-200 hairs/day is normal. However, your medical conditions can certainly affect your hair. If you have hair loss in your family or are seeing some thin areas, there are treatments that can help. Just because your hair looks healthy, doesn't mean you can't be affected by hair loss. A multi-therapy approach is the best treatment regimen to stop the shedding and protect your hair.
Let me know if you need additional help.
Sincerely,
Dr. B.
