Dr. Jones is among the first physicians in North America to add micro follicular unit extraction (FUE) - scalpel-free hair transplants to his practice. He has been practicing from his hair transplant center in Oakville (near Toronto) Ontario for many years, but since he started using the micro follicular unit extraction technique he has become a leader in the field.

New treatments
Are there really any new, promising treatments in the works for AGA? News articles allude to upcoming treatments, but don't name the drugs. Also, when doctors answer questions about stem cell research, they say these kind of transplants are 10 years away. Problem is, they said the same thing about 2 or 3 years ago.
Hi Trish,
It is very difficult to separate truth from fiction when it comes to these areas. There are many doctors doing research, but most are unwilling to share their progress as they have such a commercial interest.
At this point there doesn't seem to be anything new on the horizon in the next few years,
Dr. Robert Jones
