Dear Dr. Khadavi,
I am a 20 year old male who has been experiencing excessive hair loss in the last 4-5 months. I have been under lots of stress. I understand that Male Pattern Baldness occurs at a very gradual rate. My hair has thinned all over especially in the front, sides, and in the lower back of the scalp. I have been taking propecia but it doesn't seem to be helping. What do you think I should do?
Although from the description of your hair loss appears to be consistent with MPB, would recommend that you visit a dermatologist whom specializes in hair loss to diagnose your condition before initiating any other treatment.
