RE: frontal hairline
I have somewhat of a receding frontal hairline but it's not really noticeable to anyone else. On the very top of my head (not the crown area) there is a bit of thinning which i can usually only recognize after showering. Some of the hairs i find that have fallen out are either really really thin with a dull texture or thick and normal looking, when i part my hair in the center of my head i notice many shortened hairs in which i cannot tell if they are new hairs growing or hairs that are shrinking, the overall texture of my hair feels much different than it use to, the hair in front sort of curls forward and upward, i was diagnosed with telegen epifilium about 3 months ago after having a severe fever. i find a lot of hair has been falling out everyday, what seems like a lot more than 100 hairs. Though no one can really tell that i am losing my hair i am very paranoid that i have started losing it due to everything listed above. I'm wondering if it's possible that my hair just may be thinning from gettiing older? i don't know, i am currently 27 year old.
my zip code is 61254
Dear Jack,
From your description it appears that you have male pattern hair loss which may have been unmasked by the telogen effluvium. You need to initiate an anti-DHT treatment to stop the progression of your hair loss.
