Need help
Okay Im 22 and i have slight bitemporal recession and the back is getting worse. I can see the small miniturized hairs and im not far from my 16 year old hairline. I dont know what to do. Propecia scares me and theres no science to support propecia working on the front. Rogain seems like a waste of money so what options do i really have? should i chance propecia?
Thanks for your help,
Joe
Propecia is safe and effective treatment to stop the progression of hair loss. It will protect you from DHT-induced hair loss. The data DOES support frontal (anterior mid-scalp) and crown/vertex regrowth in some patients. Regrowth of the frontal hairline with Propecia is unlikely, but stopping the hair loss happens in 5 out of 6 men on the medication. Rogaine/minoxidil is also effective in slowing hair loss. If you do not stop the hair loss process, you will likely have to resort to hair transplantation procedures in order to restore your hair. The best treatment is EARLY treatment! Propecia is safe and effective--we prescribe it to hundreds of patients every month who want to stop their hair loss.
Let me know what questions you have.
