DHT question
If DHT is the the main culprit in hairloss why is it the hairline still recedes, and all the alive hair follicles dont grow back once DHT is inhibited? Is there anything else at work other than DHT?
Once follicles are dead and gone (or most of the way miniaturized) they do not regrow while taking Propecia--which blocks most of the production of DHT. Aside from DHT effects, hair loss can be affected by poor nutrition, poor stress management skills, medications, illness, smoking, etc. The majority of male pattern loss, however, is due to the DHT.
