hair loss
Dear Dr. Alex,
I am a 27 year old female. I have been experiencing hair loss over the past month and a half. I had two episodes of hair loss 3 years ago and also before that 2 years ago. I started using Neoxidil 2% and it got better; my hair looked fuller and I grew it shoulder lenght. A year ago, I stopped using Neoxidil. I started using it again one month ago, but I am still experiencing hair loss. I've been taking iron for a year now, since I am slightly anemic. Is there anything else I can do to stop my hair from falling out? Please help! Thank you so much.
Dear Nay,
If you are anemic you need to address that problem first. Additionally you are not allowing enough time for the minoxidil to work.
