Hello Dr. Khadavi, Im 17 years of age & I have noticed redness and flakes on my scalp, I get a burning sensation every now and then, mostly when I come out of the shower. It seems like Hair all over my scalp is thinning. I have gone to the dermatologist and he has said it is normal having more then normal hair loss at my age; he did a blood test and said everything is normal. The thinning really worries me because it makes the feel and the look of my hair awful. What do you recommend? If I use the right shampoo, is my hair going to repair & return to its original thickness? Thank you.
It appears that your have seborrheic dermatitis or dandruff. You should initiate treatment with head and shoulders intensive care shampoo along with Nizoral shampoo every other day.
