White stuff on hair root?
Hi I am 18 years old and a few months ago I was diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis. Ever since then I have been using Neutrogena T-gel and my scalp seems to have cleared up. However some times when combing my hair I get a hair that has some sort of a big white junk stuck at the root. It seem as if it came from with in the hair follicule. Now I've only seen about maybe 5 hairs like this over the last month.
Is this soemthing I should be concerned over? And could you please give any reasons why this white stuff could have been formed? Also what can I do about it?
Dear Josh,
This is most likely the scale from your dandruff but you should not be concerned. You may want to add Nizoral Shampoo or Head and Shoulders Shampoo to your regimen to control the Seborrheic Dermatitis better.
