Dr. Jones is among the first physicians in North America to add micro follicular unit extraction (FUE) - scalpel-free hair transplants to his practice. He has been practicing from his hair transplant center in Oakville (near Toronto) Ontario for many years, but since he started using the micro follicular unit extraction technique he has become a leader in the field.

Your comment on previous question
You said you were the first doctor in North America to do FUE. I remember your call to me asking me about how I do the procedure after I published the article in the Journal of Dermatology defining the FUE technique. Do you stand by that comment?
Technically speaking, i guess you could say that fue was performed years ago with a 3 or 4 mm punch. When I spoke to you and Dr. Woods years ago, he was able to perform fue on 100% of patients, where you were limited in the number of patients you were able to do.
With little or no information on Dr. Woods technique, I developed my own method of fue. I was able to perform this successfully on all patients and able to do up to 2000 grafts per day.
This technique has been adopted by many doctors around the world after attending courses at my clinic.
Perhaps i should have renamed the advanced form of fue , "the Jones technique"
