hair loss following cosmetic surgery
16 months ago I had a brow lift and face lift.Within 1 week following surgery I loss all the hair on the surgical sites.I had to use silvadine oint.Several ares had to be debrided.Since then I have had two surgery's to reduce the bald areas.I still have 1 more surgery to go to reduce the areas on the temperal areas.In the last 2 months my hair has begun to fall out all over my head.I still have numbness in all these surgical sites. I am using Rogaine and taking lots of vitamins,including biotin (5mg. qd) Do you feel this hair loss is a result of severe trauma to my scalp?Have you ever heard of this before? Do you think it will grow back? And is there anything you would recommend for me to do.I am sick over this. Gail

I am sorry to hear about your experience with cosmetic surgery. Unfortunately, I have seen hair loss associated with cosmetic procedures like browlifts and facelifts, which can vary from mild to severe. It sounds like your hair loss has been quite extensive.
