Hi, recently ive become aware of my hairline and how high it is,Im 17 years of age and have been taking an anti depressent called Effexor venlafaxin, i was wondering if this could be the case of my hair feeling a little thin,Ive had the same hairline since i small child so i dont really know if im going bald or not, pelase help

Dear Josh, Generally medications do not cause a receding hair line but cause hair loss over the entire scalp. Therefore you most likely have male pattern hair loss and should consider an anti-DHT treatment.
