Saw palmetto compared to finasteride

Question

I was just curious why it takes 5mg of finasteride for prostate health, and 1mg for hairloss when saw palmetto through similiar action takes 10X the recommended dose for hairloss and only the recommended 320mg of sp is needed for prostate problems.

Answer

Dear Joe, These numbers are just hypothesis on the dose needed. There is no trial to define the exact dosage for hair loss or prostate problems.
