Dr. Khadavi, I want to know if evening primrose oil would be beneficial to take for hypothyroid hair loss. I have regrown almost my full hair line. Will I have to keep taking anti-dht products forever?

Answer

Dear Steve, The way to treat hair loss due to hypothyroidism is to control the thyroid not by anti-DHT products. Evening pimrose will not have any benefit for you.
