eyebrow hair loss
i have a son who is 9 years old. in june he began to rub his eyebrows and rubbed all the hair off. We started to watch him very closely and made sure he did not rub them anymore. The hair has started to grow back, then the other morning he woke up and on both eye brows there was two spots that the hair was starting to fall out again and he has not been rubbing them. Do you have any idea what could have cause it, was it himrubbing them. and how are they starting to fall out again, when we have been watching him so closely?
This is due to Alopecia Areata which is an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss. This usually subsides over time but may progress to other areas of the body. If it is not very noticible, there is no treatment necessary.
