Minoxidil and your products
If I use minoxidil, then can I still use your Equisomin and Equiclear products? If so...can the minoxidil get systematically absorbed from the nanosomes? Thank you ahead of time....
Jon
Hello Jon,
You can use Equisomin and EquiClear during the same time period you are using minoxidil but make sure not to apply them at the same time. Wash your scalp when you switch between products from different companies. Nanosomes have excellent penetration into the scalp but they are not designed to act as trans-dermal vehicles in our non-medicinal formulations. We describe Nanosomes in our non-medicinal formulations as intra-dermal vehicles. Facilitating systemic absorption of other ingredients is a medicinal claim. Minoxidil may have some systemic absorption due to factors in its own formulation. If you use all the products together, you may either increase the absorption of minoxidil into skin or reduce their penetration. It depends how incompatible the formulations are with each other. I would strongly advice not to apply them together in the hope of increasing absorption of minoxidil into the scalp via the Nanosomes. There is no way to know how different formulations will act when combined.
Thank you for your question.
