Best minoxidil

Can you recommend a good brand Minoxidil product without alcohol in it? I have heard of a 2% formula with tretinoin in it with ethanol instead of propylene alcohol. I dont know sometimes anymore.......maybe I will smear peanut butter on my head with all the crazy claims out there Take care Dr B!

Robby, I prefer to prescribe a propylene-glycol free version of 5% minoxidil for my patients. This needs to be mixed by a compounding pharmacist. It tends not to dry out the skin as much and is very well tolerated. ----p.s. I'm not sure the peanut butter is a good idea ;) Sincerely, Dr. B. doctorb@baumanmedical.com
