Finasteride
Is it true a man taking finasteride will harm his potential mate in having a healthly baby -- can you be frank!?!
As long as she is not taking the medication, your baby is not theoreticaly at risk. Only extremely tiny amounts are transferred via semen/ejaculate fluid. According to rigorous scientific studies, this tiny transfer is considered safe and poses no risk to a developing male fetus. In fact, the data shows that in order to cause the potential for a birth defect, you would have to produce literally 3 liters of semen/day and transfer this to your 'mate' during the first trimesters of pregancy. In other words, the developing child is safe. Remember, women of child-bearing age should not take Propecia or handle broken tablets. By the way, the tests to determine the safety were done on Rhesus Monkeys (man's closest genetic relatives)--so no humans were harmed during the tests.
