Cystic acne
Hi, I found out about you from the Tyra Banks show. I'm a 28 year old male who has had the worst case of cystic acne that any dermatologist in my area has seen. I've been on antibiotics for years also went through 2 courses of Accutane, it seems like nothing helps at all. My whole face is covered with deep pitted scaring that still has dranage some of them have been there for over 10 years and the just won't heal. Within the last 2 years the condition has spread to my scalp and also the temple area causing huge pitted scars with alot of balding. It seems like one infects the other and it just keeps spreading. I've seen dozens of dematologists that all try to put me on the same meds that I've already been on noumerous times. This problem has caused me to go bankrupt and have to move back in with my mother, also It's caused me to go into a horrible depresion. I don't know who else to turn to. I feel like this is eating me alive. Also I was wondering if your product might help my hairloss (male pattern) without irritating the cysts that are already active? I am willing to do anything, even be apart of a t.v. show such as the Tyra show. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you for your time. Troy
Dear Troy,
Just by your story it seams that you have not the simple acne and hairloss, but acne conglubatum and dissecting cellulitis. This is very difficult to treat but there are treatments that could help. Do you live in the LA area where I could examine your skin?
