My situation need advice
I am 22 and my father and grandfather on both sides were not bald. My uncle on my moms side is. My hair has been very slowly going since about 4 years ago by eyebrows. At 20 it started thinning out all over and on the crown. My head itches a lot mostly where my hair is falling out. I have little baby hairs on the sides i can see. I use nizoral because the hairs have white bulbs and i have dandruff. Im not sure if its related. Do you think its MPB? Im going to a dermatologist, but I dont wanna take propecia for the wrong reason.
Thanks a lot for your time and help,
Joe
Joe, it sounds alot like early male pattern hair loss. If you can send me some photos, this would be very helpful. Propecia is the treatment of choice for male pattern hair loss.
Itching and/or 'crawling' sensation is common with male pattern hair loss.
