Accutane Unmasks Male Pattern Hair Loss

Question

I'm 46 & finished a 7 month course of Accutane & I've noticed thinning on the right front side of the head. Apparently, accuantane may have unmasked male pattern hair loss. Is that pattern of hair loss similiar to male pattern hair loss even at 47 & how is it treated?

Answer

Accutane may have caused Telogen Effluvian which unmasked the male pattern hair loss. Are you getting any regroth after stopping Accutane?
