propecia and hormones
How safe do you think it is to alter hormones such as DHT that are found in the brain and all major tissues? Do you think science has a good understanding of hormones such as DHT in your opinion?
This area of science has not been fully investigated, however DHT may have an important role in brain chemistry and function particularly for males. We definately know that DHT has negative effects including hair loss, acne, prostate enlargement, excessive hair growth, aggression and prostate cancer. In my opinion, local treatment with topical medications that reduce DHT are a better method for diseases like acne and hair loss.
