Dear Dr Khadavi,
Last month I have had my hair permanently straightened at a salon. Recently, I have noticed that I lose more hair than the usual when I brush my hair. I have also noticed that hair that\'s being removed don\'t have roots and instead end that supposedly is the root is split.I was advised to change my shampoo but I still experience hair breakage. I just want to know what had caused this problem and how I can prevent it from becoming worse.

Dear Denise,
You need to use a good moisturizing conditioner to revive the hair strands. Since the hairs are mostly damaged, it may take months for it to fully improve.
