Accutane Hairloss
I always had thick, thick hair that had to be thinned out a little with thinning shears. I am Greek so you can imagine that I had that thick Greek hair.
I have had 2 Accutane treatments in the past 4 years and I have a lot of thinning and a receded hairline. With the first Accutane treatment my hair was a little thinner but it looked like it was growing back. The second treatment really gave me a lot of hair loss, diffuse, I think, since I dont have patches, and I now have a receded hairline about 1 inch. The hairline is straight and not like male pattern balding. It doesn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t even run in my parents families. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s all thick and full hair.
I got pregnant 2 months after the second course of Accutane and my postpartum hair loss is already growing back about 3 inches but it does not do any justice to the rest of the hair that was lost, 40-50% loss. And in the past 2 months I also developed a very tiny bit of dandruff at the crown.
Any suggestions? Did you know the effectiveness of the Thymuskin products or should I try another remedy?
This is Telogen Effluvium and unfortunately most topicals are not helpful. Some physicians recommend minoxidil, but you may also have dandruff and minoxidil may irritate your scalp. Have you seen a physician for this condition?
