Question

My doctor prescribed me Proscar for my hairloss since it is cheaper. Rather than taking a pill cutter and splitting it into quarters, can I take one 5 mg pill of Finasteride every other day? I want to take 2.5 mg a day anyway since 1 mg wasn\\\'t doing it for me. But, I don\\\'t want to be hassled with cutting the pill. How long will a 5 mg pill stay in my body?

Answer

Yes, you can take 1/2 every other day and it will be as effective.
