Facial Hair Loss

Dr. Khadavi, I am 31 years of age and every since I have been able to grow facial hair I have always had a nice full gotee. Within the last few months I have started having bald spots on various parts of my face. These spots are very evident around my chin area. Is there anything that I can do to make the hair grow back. Either at home or medically. PLEASE respond back with some kind of information that will help me. Thanks!

Dear David, Most likely you are experiencing Alopecia Areata. You may want to visit a dermatologist to begin steroid injections along with Rogaine 5% to be used twice daily. Please keep me updated on your progress.
