Im a 40 year old woman who has noticed hair loss for the past 4 yrs. It started on top of my head, then I noticed eyebrows thinning and genital hair thining. Now it is increasing on my head. Ive heard it could be hormonal or a chemical imbalance. If so, what causes each and how is it treated. What questions should I ask a doctor to check for, and what type of doctor should I see?

I would suggest first seeing your Family doctor and then an Endocrinologist. If they provide no answers, then see a hair restoration Surgeon, Good Luck, Dr.Jones
