Rogain
Hello, Dr. Khadavi
i'm 25 yrs old and 've been losing my hair for the past 3-4 yrs, and i went to doctor and he checked everything and took biopsy sample and everything came out normal. he put me on rogain extra strength for men. i used it for 6-7 months and he took me off of it and i started to lose my hair really bad. and now i started to use rogain again but i don't see any diffrence because first time i used it my hair loss stoped compeletly and now it seems like it's not working anymore, do u think i should stop rogain and use DHT blocker treatment? my hair loss is affecting my self-confident really bad and makes me so nervous , please tell me what to do !
Dear Shohreh,
If you have androgenetic alopecia, you will benefit from an anti-DHT treatment like Revivogen, Propecia or Avodart. The problem with Rogaine is that your hair follicles become addicted to the Rogaine molecule and once you discontinue you will have a massive shed.
