Original Purpose or Use:To treat Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) FDA Approved?Yes, for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Not approved for hair loss. Scientific Results:FDA Phase II clinical trials have shown excellent results with regarding to maintaining current hair and regrowing new hair. Observed Results:I have not personally observed the results of this drug. Notes:This is a dual-5aR-inhibitor. Therefore it prevents the formation of DHT. Side Effects:Some sexual-related side-effects have been noted, similar to those for Finasteride.
