Lipoxidil

Original Purpose or Use:

Lipoxidil contains Minoxidil, a vasodilator originally used to treat hypertension or high blood pressure. Minoxidil has been found to regrow some hair and slow the progression of further hair loss.

FDA Approved?

Lipoxidil's main active ingredient, Minoxidil, is FDA approved for treating hair loss.

Scientific Results:

See the Minoxidil treatment page.

Observed Results:

None, as Morphollica.com has not tried Lipoxidil yet.

Notes:

This is a Minoxidil-based product that uses liposomes as the main delivery vehicle for the Minoxidil. It comes in 1.5% and 4.5% Minoxidil concentrations. Liposomes are small fat molecules that have been shown to have enhanced penetration capabilities into the skin. If Lipoxidil effectively uses liposomes, then it is quite possibly a great way of getting the benefits of Minoxidil with improved absorption and reduced exposure to irritants such as alcohol and propylene glycol, both of which are used quite commonly in standard Minoxidil preparations. The main selling feature of Lipoxidil over regular Minoxidil is the fact that it uses liposomes.

Side Effects:

See the Minoxidil treatment page.
