Xandrox15 Review
April 9, 2004
Sixth Month of Use:
I have been using Dr. Lee's (of Regrowth LLC fame) Xandrox 15 now for 6 months and I can say without hesitation that it works. For me, it has worked better than any hair loss treatment product that I have ever used, including Rogaine 5% and generic brands of 5% Minoxidil, Propecia, Topical Spironolactone and several other products.
Because I am testing Revivogen Scalp Therapy and Xandrox 15 at the same time, I stopped using Xandrox 15 in the crown area after only a couple of months of use and decided to test it along my frontal hair line and temples. I have been using Revivogen in the crown (to be reviewed again soon, read my first month review).
As of the sixth month of using Xandrox 15, I can say that there has been cosmetically significant regrowth up to about a centimeter in front of my temples and ranging from about a half-centimeter to one-and-half-centimeters in length. I am hopeful that in successive hair growth (anagen phases) these will continue to thicken and grow in length until they are indistinguishable from normal, healthy hair. Along my hair line the density of my hair has improved. I can see little vellous, almost terminal new hair growing between the healthy existing hair.
I recommend this product to anyone who is looking to improve their hair loss treatment regimen. Xandrox 15 contains 15% minoxidil and 5% azeleic acid.
To clarify, I am not in an way affiliated with Dr. Lee or his products and do not receive any form of compensation for my endorsement of his products.
My only complaint about Xandrox 15 is that it is sticky. But I use it only once a day at night-time and wash my hair in the morning, so this has not been a problem for me.
Here is a picture of the my right temple showing the regrowth. To view a super close-up of this shot click on the picture. You can see new terminal and vellous hairs growing to the right of my temple hair area, and just underneath:
