Glisodin and such

Post by chore boy »

Scooped up some Glisodin on the cheap from Vitacost, which arrived today:

http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-GliSODin-SO ... t-Catalyst

Anywho, I'm going balls-out at 2000 mg/daily. What's the most you guys have taken? Jacob?

I'll elaborate on my theory later but I suspect a properly-implemented, oxidative/senescent/apototic condition correction regimen might help our cause, immensely.

I'm waiting on my package from BAC which will contain cocoa polyphenols, GSE and 98% GTE. I will probably end up with Glisodin, cocoa polyphenols and (ideally) apple polyphenols internally, while devising concepts for topical incorporations of polyphenols, procyanidins, catechins, EGCG, etc. Too bad pure EGCG is so expensive...

I suspect myself to be oxidative as hell... everything from me getting grey hairs at 15 years old, to anti-oxidants helping out immensely in my occasional bouts with puffy eyes.

I think "oxidative susceptability" might shed light on:

- why guys side hair diminishes in quality and quantity when it's believed to be largely immune to androgen-related loss.

- the correlation implied in the Asian study regarding cigarette smoking and exacerbation of MPB.

- seemingly excessive senescent/aptotic conditions when it's been suggested that: while androgens may induce apoptosis, large amounts are required... leading one to believe that other growth-suppresive factors are in place. Oxidative conditions are known to harbor p53, a pro-aptotic gene found to be elevated in MPB subjects.

- etc.

Back when I had a bottle of BAC's apple polys, I accidently figured out that they worked ridiculously-well to aleviate hangovers. Too bad BAC doesn't offer it anymore...

BAC does carry GliSODin..in case you didn't know. Be careful when comparing VitaCost's..theirs requires 2 caps to get the 500mg.

I think the most I've ever taken is 1000mg a day. I took it for the longest time..then stopped for almost a year. Then took that "skin pill" that contained it until I ran out about 2 weeks ago. I've been looking to get it separately as well again..maybe.

This product looks good..cheap too(ha)..contains that Extramel SOD: http://www.vitalfactorsxtreme.com/aboutvitalfactors.php Wish it said how much of each though..

BTW..I wonder how good this SOD topical is: http://www.vitiligo-expert.com/EN/SOD-V ... index.html
