The Lamas hair cream smells amaaazing. It's so nice to put something on my head that doesn't smell like %&$! hahah.

I emailed Dr. Y about any holiday sales and he said no, but he said they might be more generous with freebies around this time.

Hi to Jacob or anyone else using the Lamas Scalp Serum.

After application and massaging it in, would you say that it dried pretty quickly, is a bit oily or does it just dry at a normal rate...considering I would like to apply it twice a day as recommended and so it'd have to be okay cosmetically speaking in the morning before going off to work.

What are your thoughts, anyone, anyone......?

Kind thanks,

Justin.

Jacob, does this help heal follicles, or is it simply a growth stimulant like minox?

and how is your hair loss now? did you find anything that successfully stopped it or regrew hair? or are you still losing?

iluvhair..check out their website, as well as the info on Phytocelltec. I do believe it has some growth stimulate properties like minoxidil.

I pretty much stopped my hairloss 2-3 years ago. Mainly with the help of Elsom's topicals. Got some regrowth too..but these days I'm looking for a better boost with these growth factor/peptide/stem cell-connected and hGH topicals.

what do u feel has been the most helpful from elsom? what would u suggest to someone?

im 22, losing hair in front - very minimally before propecia, propecia has made me shed like crazy, even 9 months onward, and caused some vertex thinning. idk what to do next. fluridil/topical spiro havent helped. dont want stimulators like minox, but rather anti-androgens, androgen receptor blockers/degraders, or something that supports healing of the follicles.

I keep the serum and the shampoo in the fridge, I don't know. I think it works good for an everyday application but also with other topicals. Do u know if caregen will use thymosin 4 in their topicals it seems the have done lots of research on it. I like their PDFs online. Professional company

Iluvhair..I would say the Terminal 1&2. It's hard to say though since I used other things(including their other topicals) along with it.

intricate1..I doubt they'll use TB4..unless they pay to use it. The patent rights have been bought by certain companies...

Thanks! I looked into the ingredients, not sure how Terminal works, as I don't recognize anything much. Looks like I'd have to give up all my topicals to properly do the regimen. Can you explain what it's suppose to do? Heal follicles?

Out of all the cool things out there, so many talked about on this forum, what else do you recommend? Dermaheal, Lamas, Dermatopoientin, ActiStem, etc. All these are new to me.

I think Elsom would know better how to tell you how they work  I thought a brief explanation was posted somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

All those others you mentioned look good to me. This is all experimental..people are looking to try new and more(meaning using more than one thing at a time) things for a reason. MPB is a pain to treat :x

I emailed Elsom, and they replied with a pretty in-depth e-mail on how it should work, and it sounds simply like growth stimulators, but rather nothing to protect/prevent androgen-inflicted damage. While it may be great for some, I don't think it's what I want, unless I am mistaken?

Basically their theory is that DHT may be good for hair, but some hair is too weak to support it, thus it ends up shutting down/dying. idk...idk if I agree.

All I'm going to say is I've never worried about DHT too much. I think it's pretty obvious that to get regrowth, especially in areas where the hair has been missing for awhile..you're going to have to hit things at different angles...use more than one product...etc.

Hi Jacob.

Did you notice any significant shedding after starting the Lamas serum?
I'm 15 days into it now and it feels like my scalp is 'waking up', sort of, which is great.
But in addition to that, my crown and vertex has shed in a terrible way, looking ghastly and peeving me somewhat.
I guess this might be indicating some positive changes down the track...I'm hoping that's the case.

Feels like the peppermint oil burnt off the weaker hairs.

Nope...but then again most topicals never gave me that problem..although like you say it's possible it's not really a "problem". I've said this a hundred times..but I like to slowly introduce new topicals..slowly get off of them..so as not to shock those guys up there.

I started this topical around 1.5-2 months ago, the past 3 weeks has been some pretty brutal shedding. This has always been a good sign for me (and most of the hairs were of the weaker variety). I, for one, will be sticking through the shed. I have high hopes for this topical.

Thanks Jacob and perga.

I was wanting to slowly introduce the serum too, but I guess my impatience and then after seeing how my scalp 'felt' after one application and I just couldn't stand waiting to see what would happen so I launched into it with visible results. :x

Oh well, as perga and you suggest, this could be a good sign for the future. It's been so hard to increase density up there being a diffuse thinner so the Lamas serum gives me much hope. Been on their shampoo for about 3 months now and I love it.

Yes, Swoosh. I've been using it for almost 2 months now and been shedding in a most evil fashion. The whole of my crown and vertex has thinned terribly. I'm hoping this is just the initiating sequence, so to speak and the regrowth comes back in thicker in a month or so. Thank goodness for Toppik.
I use one third to half a dropper twice daily and each bottle lasts about 25 days that way.

great, shedding can be a good sign, unfortunately some products only seem to initiate shedding, and then not take it to the next level of regrowth.
please keep us updated. i have high hopes for this product, but cant afford to try it. Of course if i know it actuallyt works ill sell a kidney or something.

Treatment usually depends upon how severe the hair loss is and whether it involves only one or two patches or is more extensive. If you want to prevent hair loss you should massage your scalp with rosemary oil a few times a week or daily. It works for prevention. Also is important to read "Myhairway" book, about hair regrowth, download link http://myhairway.com Good Luck and enjoy!

The only Elsom product I'm using at the moment is NanoFibrin..but as I've said- do plan to put some other Elsom topicals back in my regimen. Even thinking of having another custom made..based on apple stem cells and bayberry..if that would make sense. In fact I think I'll bump up that other thread to see if I can get some opinions...

does anyone have a progress report on this lamas product range? is anyone using the shampoo and conditioner as well as the serum.

I was actually interested in going the full kit but I don't want to one day wake up with less hair as a result of usage.

My shampoo, conditioner and serum finally arrived yesterday and I gave shampoo/conditioner a go today. Both of them smell merely nice, predominantly of mint and left my hair feeling pretty damn soft and groovy with minimal friz, which is unusual for me. The serum I'll probably put to the side for a while cos I'm happy with the results I'm getting from the elsom terminals, though I am tempted to try it just because it's just sitting there, in the drawer, calling out to me to smear it all over my head.

There doesn't seem too much positive coming out of this thread though, and realistically it's like anything more than a good adjunct to other treatments but I'll still try it out for myself once I get sick of the terminals.

thanks for the comments on the shampoo and conditioner Joey it sounds like a good product, I have a high expectations of natural products... I have been looking for a good natural shampoo and conditioner for a long time now that I felt comfortable with and this seems like a good enough product to try.
I haven't heard of any positive results from the serum but thats typical of any product here, I really seen any heavy indications of positivity in any thread regardless of the product but what do seem like popular choices is here is elsom's, Dermaheal and perhaps even Lamas, A&G seems to be discussed a lot but I think thats only because there doesn't seem to be a strait answer within all that hoopla thats going on with it and people are trying to get to the bottom of it.

I can't decide between Dermaheal, Lamas and Elsom's right now. :S

Well I'm sticking with the Lamas serum for around 6-9 months to see what happens with this shed I've gone through. If no great recovery occurs then it's time for me to hit the Elsom products and do much the same. Really hanging out for that hair to come back which has shed so much recently.

Your shedding has me worried Justin :|
I just want to avoid having a less than I started with prior to lamas, but everything is a risk I suppose and me doing nothing about my problem won't help either.

I hope things pick up for you and I commend you on continuing with Lamas for an additional 6-9 months.

Thanks Fizzball. I agree, it's pretty disconcerting to witness the 'going backwards effect' especially when you're a diffuse thinner to begin with (like me). I have some faith in this product - besides what I've heard here and there from others about its effectiveness it also makes my scalp and remaining hair 'feel' super healthy so I hope those growth factors kickstart some positive action. I'd love to be able to be one who can share a great come back story so it can inspire others to try it and hopefully they obtain similar results. Will keep all posted here....
